Hello everybody, I understand there's not a template to follow when it comes to write the sponsor's cover letter. However, I would like to get your expert opinion in the one letter we are about to summit:
"Dear UK Border Agency:
I am writing to you this time, to declare that I would like my husband of 18 years to be issued a Family Permit in order to meet me and our son in London, England.
I arrived to the United Kingdom, on June XXX of this year with the firm intention to settle permanently, and so far I have secured a residence: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Opened bank accounts with XXXXX, signed a contract with a Mobile Phone Company XXXXX, obtained my national insurance card, I’m working on a part time basis, and I have received calls from different companies that would like to train me in order to retain me on a long term basis.
Therefore, I come to you to please indicate that I would like to exercise my rights of free movement as an European Citizen indicated on Directive 2004/38/EC.
Enclosed you will find the following documents:
• A certified copy of my Italian passport
• My husband’s original passport
• A photograph of my husband
• Original certificate of marriage with the appropriate apostille
• A single photocopy of my pay slip
