hi there. i am a regular visitor of this forum. it is really an excellent effort for awaring the people regarding immigration issues.
i have a question plz. i was granted HSMP visa in april 2008 for 2 years. in MAY 2010, i was granted a furthur leave for 3 years until may 2013. i will be eligible for ILR in may 2013. Unfortunately, in 2009 i was convicted for a domestic assault charge, which will be spent in Aug 2014. means i cannot apply ILR before 2014, while my 5 years residency requirement will be met in may 2013. now my question is, in aug 2014, when i will apply for ILR, can i apply for BC immidiately after granting ILR or i will have to wait for furthur 1 year before applying BC. anyone if could reply plz....

You will need to wait 12 months after ILR (unless married to British citizen).
