Citizenship papers - notory

Post by starbuck » Fri Jul 29, 2011 7:25 pm

hi all,

i am about to apply for my citizenship. there is a section that says that we have to apply only certified copies as

"to your solicitor or a notary public, commissioner for oaths or peace commissioner and ask them to make a copy of each document and certify that it is a true copy of the original i.e. stamp and sign it “True copy of the originalâ€

Best suggestion is to shop around, ring few solicitors and see who offers the best price. Recession has hurt every industry here not just retail/construction so you will defo get a good deal + the more docs you have to get signed the more discount you get, no harm in asking.

Peace commissioner is the cheapest, they are often free! Hard to find though. There is one near Store St Garda station if that's near you, just pop into the Station and ask them, they'll give you her number. Some solicitors should do a deal, if there are a few of them you have to be witnessed.

There're certain categories of document that a peace commissioners can signed or notarized which will satisfy INIS in this case scenarios, with the exceptions on naturalization application document, but only the form but any other document are not suitable for peace commissioners to notazed just because they're free. Otherwise get more info on those who have done it rather than looking for cheaper notary of naturalization Documents.
