can i apply for canadian student visa from london......

Hi,

i been in london for the last 3 - 4 years.... the study was good but the problem here is that you can't apply for pr or anything ....

i have already filed my immigration case to canada from london got my file no. and everything 2- 3 months back...

• so i was thinking if i move down to canada and study there and re-apply from there will it help to speed up my immigration........

Since the timelines for processing between the US and LDN and not so far apart, I would suggest you leave your application alone in London and go to CND as a student. You can withdraw your application if you want and apply through Buffalo ones you get your study permit for CND and move there. There is a post on this board concerning this so check it out and read it thoroughly for more info.

You should be able to apply for SV for CND in London if you can meet all the requirements for the visa and also convince them that, you are not escaping the UK for the purpose of staying permanently in CND based on on your post. The onus is on you to prove to the IO, you are a genuine student. (Ref: my post to a similar posting about India Students applying for migration on this board).
