poor credit history

Hi gang,

Does a person with poor credit history (say with credit cards not paid ontime and some CCJ)

Does it affect the Tier1 extension or ILR in future??

Experts please advise

If poor credit history was a crime then half of all credit/store card holders in the country will be behind bars mate.

What if the credit card holder could nt pay the money back?? What if a CCJ issued against his credit file?? Do we need to declare as a Conviction or not???

Could seniors please explain difference between a CCJ given on credit cards and normal Conviction in court?? Do we need to declare it in the application while applying or not??

please advise

A County Court Justice is not a 'conviction' and does not carry a custodial sentence i.e being sent jail.

Even if you cannot repay your credit cards and file for bankruptcy that too is not a 'conviction'. It is purely a financial matter and it is not one for the criminal courts unless you are talking about say issues like fraud.

Pls google CCJs for more info
