PEO CROYDON SUCCESS FLR M

Post by ccpimax » Fri Aug 12, 2011 9:52 pm

Hi All

I've have been reading this forum for many many months in prepartion of my husbands applicaton FLR m and felt i would firstly thank all the contributors of this forum for giving insight into the process and share my experience with you.

A little background, my husband was a here on a student visa since 2008 and we married in june this year.

Our application was not straigt forward as my husband had some driving convictions which he recieved in February this year. All were disclosed on form.

We decided to attend PEO rather than postal as having recently completed his studies was eager to start working.

Our appointment was 14.50 today and we arrived in good time.
Within an hour of being there we had had intial checks done (making sure we had the right form and documents) and registered for biometrics. We then waited about 45mins for biometrics to be carried out. Once this was completed everything happened very quickly.

We were told which window to go to so our application could be processed and was granted within 30mins.

We had gathered a huge amount of documents to support our application including payslips photos bills in both our names however none these were looked at. They only required the following Documents from us

*Passports
*Bank statements 5 1/2 months
*Language certificate
*Husbands Academic Certificate
*Mortgage Documents
*Marriage Certificate
*Council Tax bill

I however was glad I had everthing else just incase they had asked.

They didn't ask any questions about his convictions which was what I had been most worried about. In fact they didnt ask anything.

So by 5pm we were told the visa had been granted for 2 years and he would recieve his ID card within 7 days (they no longer put visa in passorts).

Its a great relief that is over (for now at least)

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH!!!!!

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

It clearly shows, even though your application was not straight forward, you were both honest, and it paid off!

All the very best for the future
Alhamdulilah for habibi..
