British Citizenship And court case back home

Post by londoncitizen » Sun Aug 14, 2011 11:04 pm

Hi All,
This is a complex situation. I've ILR for over a year and I'm trying to apply for British Citizenship.

The complication is that I've got a criminal case going on back home. I haven't mentioned this case when I applied for ILR so I can't mention it in the British Citizenship application as well.

My question is, if there is no mention of any case in application form would they find it out? Do they enquire Embassies/Home country for any criminal record?

Any help will be appreciated.
