Convert Visit Visa to Employment Visa While I live in Cypru?

Hi,

Greetings for the day,

I am currently in India, I have been offered a Job in Limassol -Cyprus,

My employer (in Cyprus) is arranging a visit Visa, as per him I have to come on Visit Visa first & then while in this month he will convert it to Employment visa,while I live in Cyprus on visit visa,

Now I have a simple query, Is it possible that My visit visa is converted to employment visa while I live in Cypurs,

An earlier reply with helpful answer would be really appreciated.

Yes, it can be done.
Although, as far as I know, the "proper" way is to wait for your work permit approval abroad and then enter with it (I guess it is just internal immigration's regulation or something), I know of plenty of people who did exactly what your employer suggests to do - entered as visitors and obtained work permits in the country.
If your employer needs a consultant/lawyer who can clarify this 100%, facilitate the process etc, PM me, I'll give you a name and phone.

Since I am work permit of UAE...now my prospective employer of Cyprus wants me to visit cyprus on visit visa, coz getting a visit visa is much easier then india....So finally he wants me to fly from UAE on tourist visa n then he will convert it to employment....

Now kindly advice....is it also possible...

What do you mean? Is it easier to get a visa for Cyprus from UAE than from India for you? I have no idea. Probably.

Is it required to show the proof of sufficient funds (in bank as bank statement), if Yes then how to show & how much?

No idea how much is required. Show as much as you can. Get an account statement from your bank a day or two before you apply. A letter from your employer stating your salary would not hurt also I guess.
