Tier 1 General renewal questions?

Post by latch » Tue Aug 16, 2011 9:42 pm

Hi all,

I'm just about completing the first two years of my Tier 1, and I was researching into applying for the extension.

I have just been on the UK border website and noticed they seem to have scrapped it, and I cant quite find relevant information as to what happens, or as to what do apply for.

Can any one kindly point me to the right direction?

Much appreciated...

Tier 1 (G) is now closed but those already in the system are permitted to extend.

thanks a lot for the link.

one more thing though. I didnt see it anywhere on the website, but i hears rumours that you need to have maintained the same income levels from the time of the first application till the time of the extension.

.. I know the website still says previous 12 months, but I just want to be sure. Thanks

It´s all mentioned in that link; not on the first page so you´ll have to browse through the eligibility section. You score points similar to the initial application. The points scale is clearly indicated on those pages.
