4 year rule

Post by toleem171 » Thu Aug 18, 2011 2:03 pm

Hi there

I have earlier posted in here and I have the same issue still. Although, now we have added to our family another baby:-), so we are four now.

My situation is as follows:
- I am a British citizen living abroad for more than 4 years. I have been married for more than 4 years with my current partner. We both have good proffesions. We had planned to move to Britain for some months now under the 4 years outside the UK rule but circumstances did not allow us. Nevermind, we are ready to start with preparations again and before we start we would like to learn a bit more about some issues that bother us. We hope that with your help we can get to clarify them. Here is what is bothering us:
1. Spouse has to take KOL test or some other test? Is that test possbile to be taken outside of UK and where?
2. Is is fine to stay at my brothers 2 bedroom rented accomodation while he is away and what docs. do we need to provide for this?
3. Is it OK to apply with no job offers?
4. We have 25k of savings, would these be taken into account and help posittively our claim?

Thanks
