When i new came to uk i applied for benefit before 3 months, and after 10 months i recieved a letter saying i have to pay back the money because a person who comes to the uk new, is not aloud to claim benefit before 3 month, but the social security services never told me about this.

Can you please tell me how i can make a affective appeal towards this
