Post by reddybbn » Sun Aug 21, 2011 10:40 pm

Hi All,

Can somebody who has already appealed with IAFT-2 form and successful can answer the following questions.

1) Child applicant is required to fill this form?
2) Type of decision: Tick one box
Settlement Non Settlement Family visit

3) Is your refusal a points based system (PBS) decision?
4) Name of decision making Post

Many thanks,
Narayana.

1 Yes
2 Non settlement (given that have posted this in the Tier 1 forum)
3 I´m not a clairvoyant and you haven´t stated what category of refusal. However, it will likely be a non-points-based decision for a dependant as Tier 1 is now closed.
4 The city or hub wherever the visa application was submitted (eg Rio de Janeiro, Amsterdam, etc). This will be indicated on the refusal notice that came with the returned passport.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your response.

I'm referring to dependants Tier 1 General Migrant visa, which was applied in chennai.

1) If child is filling the form, there is a column which requires signature. can she put thumbprint?

Many thanks.

Regards,
Narayana.
