Withdraw Work Permit Application staying on Working Holiday

Hi All,

This is my first ever post so forgive me if this question has already been answered.

I am currently on a Working Holiday Maker Visa until the Feb 2007. I begin work with a new employer in September and they have requested and had approved a Work Permit for me. I now have to submit a FLR prior to end Nov.

However, my circumstances have changed so I need to return to Aus in January. Can I withdraw the Work Permit, not worry about the FLR and continue on my Working Holiday Maker Visa with the same employer until I leave in Jan?
