Can i travel outside UK and come back to UK again?

My course finished 2 Oct 2011. My visa valid until 2 Feb 2012.

Before i travel and go back my country i will pay deposit for my MBA course which will be start on 17 Jan 2012.

-- I plan to travel to Paris and Rome at the end of Oct 2011
and then come back to UK again.

-- After that i will go back my country around 4 Nov 2011.


I paln to come back UK again on 12 Jan 2012 with Tier4 visa that still valid. Then extend my visa inside UK.

My Question are
- Should it be fine for me to travel and then com back to UK with Tier4 visa
and i will show the letter from my new school that i already paid for MBA course ?

- I come back to UK on 12 Jan 2012 and My new course start on 17 Jan 2012,
At that time i will apply to extend my visa inside UK by post. Is it too late?
Can i start course before i receive my visa back?

Could you pls advise me? I already read on UKBA website but still confusing.
