Tier 1 (General) Extension - About Lost Passport

Hello all,

I am asking this query on behalf of my friend.
He got one of his passport stolen and when he applied for initial Tier1 where he mentioned about his lost passport and details.

Now he is due to apply in December for the extension application. Does he need to mention the lost passport information again?. Reason being curios, if he goes for PEO, will this make the case not straightforward?

Please if anyone can suggest.
