Is Biometric Notification Email valid alone?

Hi
I have received Biometric Notification Email. Do I need to wait for letter too to get my Biometrics done? Or is the email itself is valid to get biometrics done?

No the email alone is not sufficient. They need a letter too, which they would send across.
