Post by LOLA5VIP » Fri Aug 26, 2011 7:44 pm

Hi to everyone, I am a holder of residence permit for 5 years, and i have to go to Italy, last year i had a free visa but this time i have been told i dont really need one if traveling with my husband. What is going to happen if i ll fly alone and provide all papers(copy of his Id card, his residence card, merriage certificate) on border. Are they gonna deport me back to UK???
Please, help with any news and advise,as i have got a tickets already,as i was gonna apply for visa as last year.

If travelling alone then you need to have a Schengen visa. As you already know, visa free entry is possible when you are travelling with or joining your EEA spouse.
