FLR M some questions - sponsor unemployed

Post by Fisherman » Sat Aug 27, 2011 3:40 pm

Hi folks,
Wondering if anyone can help us with the form?
My wife came via a fiancee visa a few moths ago and now after getting married we have an appointment for the FLR M visa in Croydon next week.

I have been unemployed since April 2011 and am going to be studying in September to be a secondary school teacher. I have over 60k in savings. Should I write a letter and state that I was made redundant in April and that I'll be training to be a teacher or just give them the 3 months worth of various statements and not say anything as I'll be unemployed for a year whilst studying. I think my finances should be sufficient? Should I give them a budget of some sorts?

My wife works via the internet for a Russian company - it's her old job from back home and her boss has said he doesn't mind her working from the UK as her job is online. Should we mention this - I can't see anywhere on the form as it only asks if she works in the UK - she doesn't and she can't on a fiancee visa anyhows.

My final question is that I jointly own a 2 bedroom flat with my brother - should I get a letter saying that he is ok with the both of us living there and will he need to fill out anything for the form?

Sorry I know I have a lot of questions! If anyone can help we will be very grateful
