Biometrics taken in Jordan - Passport couriered to the US?

Post by Susan83 » Sun Aug 28, 2011 5:53 pm

I'm a US citizen residing in Jordan

My Biometrics have already been taken in Jordan. A country I am a legal resident in but my visa got refused.
Now can I courier my passport to a UKBA office in the United States while I remain in Jordan and rely on the biometrics submitted in Jordan?

Is this a valid option?

No you can't do that. Why were you refused (or do you mean you were refused a new visa for Jordan)? If you want to apply from the US you can but you will have to go the US.

My story is under
Topic: Explanatory Documents to avoid ECO from making a mistak

I'm trying to avoid my application being processed in Jordan and going to the US is going to be an expensive option especially that my final destination should be the UK.

I'm worried about wasting time while I wait for my AR result to come out. I submitted it on the 18th of August. But AR's are processed by ECM so I might get luckier with a manager. I also fear that if I apply for a new visa it will also take a long time since they may send it to a different country whilst they remain unfamiliar with US Student loans and the loan certificate approved by UKBA.

I did submit tons of evidence but stressing out. I have to be in the UK in 2 weeks or so.

There is no point in making another application unless you can address the reason for the previous refusal and as you have not continued in your original thread you are not likely to received comment on that here in this new thread. Getting back to the question in this thread, you will have to return to the USA to apply from the USA, or make another application in Jordan.
