PSW application track after 3 weeks!!

Hi everybody,

I have applied for my PSW (with my wife and child) on 5th August 2011. I got a confirmation latter with UKBA reference number on 9th August, but after 3 weeks, application fee has not been taken from by bank account.

on 18th and 24th August I called UKBA to track my application but I a phone operator on application track said that they can just send an email to my case officer (of course they never give you the name or contact number).

I have got a job and my employer has already put a deadline to my contract about preparing the visa to start. what can I do??? is there anything wrong with my application? how can I track it?

There is no on-line tracking facility for applications made inside the UK. Three weeks is well within the normal timescales for these applications. They take around six weeks (or more).

Have you contacted your bank? Check if UKBA have tried to take the money from your account. What method did you use - Debit card?

And make sure you put the bank details correct.

One of my friends who I helped him to fill in the forms and have applied one week later than me, has got a letter from the UKBA with a reference number to take his finger print. Also, the money for his application deducted of his bank account just four days after application post date.

I will talk to my bank to see if the UKBA has tried to get the money from may bank account or not but the problem is if they couldn't abble to get the money from my bank account why they didn't reject it within the past three weeks (now four weeks!!!)

I have a good job offer but my my employer is keen about the visa .. I don't like to lose that one. DO NOT KNOW WHAT CAN I DO??
