Issue of biometric card replacement -End date error

I was issued a Card but the date of issuing was typed into date of expiry. I have sent it to UKBA with my passport. Any idea how long this process will take?
And are the passport and biometric card sent back together or separetely?

Also, do they send any acknowledgement in this case when they receive the passport and the biometric card?

Have you received the new BRP Card with correction ??

Also, Could you please explain list of the steps which you followed to correct an error in BRP Card ??

I may run into this problem too. Thanks

Dear Forum Members,

My BRP is issued with incomplete name, When I enquired with UKBA, I was asked to send my passport and BRP to UKBA for correction.

I have sent my documents week ago, but I have not received any acknowledgement.

So I am bit worried , can some one kindly share there experience for the similar kind of issue.

@ Raj - Have you enquired UKBA via email ?? How long it took they respond to you ??

If you have sent your documents via special recorded delivery then it should be fine. Based on previous posts I had read, it takes about 3 working days to get BRP corrected card to arrive.

Probably, you can send an email back to UKBA to verify your status
