English test, I can't find approved providers in Spain

Post by lhb9879 » Fri Sep 02, 2011 8:18 pm

Hello,

My husband is about to apply for the settlement visa to come with me to live in the UK. He has to pass an English test first before applying for the visa (VAF4A) We are both living in Spain at the moment so he has to take his test here. I think his test is the A1 CEFR test. The only problem is, I can't find out who is an approved provider here in Spain and who isn't. I'm just going round and round in circles on the internet and coming up with nothing. If anybody can help me find the right website, or the right approved testing center I would seriously appreciate it. Thank you.

Why not do the KET at the British Council?

Thanks Lucapooka, I just have one question, how do I know that they are an approved provider with the uk border agency? I can't find anywhere on their site that says anything about that.

It's the exam itself that is the approved provider rather than the place where you sit the exam.
