Do I need to re-apply for my ancestral visa if lost in order

Post by mmaw » Sun Sep 04, 2011 5:39 pm

Hi All

My UK ancestral visa is due to expire in November and I am going to apply for ILR. However my passport got stolen last night that has my ancestral visa in it. I know I will need to apply for a new passport, But does anyone know if I need to re-apply for my ancestral visa again in order to apply for ILR?

Its seems quite costly given I only need it for 2 months longer.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

MM
