London processing times currently span between 36 - 45 months.

The whole process for applicants from begining to finish is case dependent and therefore you cannot use one applicant's timeline to compare to yours. You would have to wait if no additional docs are requested or further medicals are needed during the process. All these can delay the process.

US 2006,

I believe a careful reading of the rules will help you with your query but I will answer your question anyway.

This is what the CIC Website states currently:

** PLEASE NOTE **

As of September 1, 2006, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) will introduce a new simplified application process for most federal skilled workers.

Under this process, you submit only a basic application form and fee. This guarantees your place in the processing queue, meaning that the regulations in effect on that date will apply to your application. When the visa office is ready to assess your application, you will be asked to send the required supporting documentation.
*************************************************************
Comments:
If you apply before September 1, 2006 (Up until August 30, 2006) then you need to send all documents as per the old process. Anything on or after this period is just fees and Simplified Application Form.
Praise The Lord!!!!

Well,

I have a friend from UK who has applied and had his AOR but was told that he needs to wait for 36 moonths before the true real processing will take place!!!!!

Does this seem logical anyone has encountered that?

Please can anyone enlighten us?

Thanks so much.

This seems logical and stick to the timelines CIC has given you. If anything changes they will contact you.

What seems illogical is the multiple postings you are making on this board and I will advise you to refrain from that and take time and search the website so that you can receive answers to some of the obvious questions you are splashing all around.

Thank you.
Praise The Lord!!!!
