Possible to get PR or I need wait ????

Post by natashik.uk » Thu Sep 08, 2011 5:55 pm

Hello, would like to know what are my chances of obtaining permanent residence.
My husband is from Latvia has worked here for over 5 years so he can apply for permanent residence already. Question: Can I apply with him (I am from Russia), if I lived here 5 years too (although the first 2 years I was on a student visa, then we married and now I have family member of EU nationals).
Is this possible or do I have to wait 5 years after I was granted a visa family member of EU nationals?
We lived together all of 5 years.

THANK YOU

When did you marry? In your case it will be 5 years after that ...

It's not necessarily bad news is it? 2014 is not as far away as you might feel it. My hubby and I have been together for over 6 years and it doesn't feel like it (most days!).

Enjoy being together, free to work in the UK and travel around the continent without muchado...

I read couple month ago a case from this forum almost same case.
They have been together 5 years and i don't remember exactly how long they been married must be 2 or 3 years.

After 5 year they applied for PR and first application wasn't successful and they applied second time with cover letter and proof of living 5 years together and home office issued with PR.
