Travel to India on Biometric Residence permit

I am in UK on Tier 2 ICT and got successfully extended. But after extension, I have received a Biometric Residence permit card. I want to know if I can travel to India and come back using this BRP card or whether would it be a problem at immigration when I return because I don't have any visa sticked to my passport.

Did anyone travelled to India after getting extended in UK(using the BRP) and returned back to UK

Please could anyone let me know if I can travel to India and return

Everyone issued a BRP uses the same (and the passport) to re-enter UK. BRP replaces the vignette (visa) in the passport.
