ECJ case C‑325/09 Dias [2011] is about whether Maria Dias has PR in the UK based on her varied history of exercising treaty rights and not doing so.

Sounds a lot like common sense really. We could have told them that Residence Permits only have a declaratory effect and does not confer any rights in itself.

How does an unemployed person get enough cash to take such a case to such great extends?
