my Tier 2 Visa Valid still ??

Hi All,
I was Deputed to UK from a S/w company and i was there from 2010 april till 2011 april. My Visa is tier 2 and it is valid till 2013 april. I have resigned the company though which got me the tier 2 visa and now i am in another s/w company in hyderabad.
I have a job offer but can i travel with this Visa? Is it still valid?
How do i know whether it is still valid.

No it is not. Because it allows you to work in the UK for the named Tier 2 sponsor only (from where you have already resigned).

Sponsors are required to inform UKBA when a sponsorship ends / is terminated.

Hi Moderator,
Thanks a lot for the reply. I read from the net that even Tier 1 visa is stopped since April. So if an Indian wants to work in UK the only possible way is through Tier 2 Visa which should be sponsored by a company??? Please confirm that. me and my husband are s/w professional planning to go to UK for a while to work.

Tier 1 (General) is now closed for new applicants. For other available categories that you may qualify under, see Working in the UK.

Yes Tier 1 is now closed. You can apply under ICT Tier 2 Established staff category. There is however a rule that you have to be employed by the organisation for 12 months before applying for this visa. Please check with your company's legal department for this.
