OCI Application - Family or Individual & Postal applicat

Hi,

I am going to apply for OCI for myself and two children. Spouse continues to holds Indian citizenship.

On the online form, after I choose family option I have to enter the wife option but she actually is not part of the application. I wonder whether this will confuse the officials out there (I would not be surprised if they do get confused). Shall I rather choose the individual option for 3 of us?

Also, Am I suppose to send the self-addressed envelope for return of OCI along with the application or send it once OCI has been approved.

I am wondering because we have to sent the British passport for OCI stamp and do we send that too along with the application..

Best use the family option and ignore the spouse details. It shoudnt matter.

You just send the form will copies of all documents. Track the progress of your application online, once OCI is ready at HCI London, you send your passport with a SDE and a printout of the confirmation of ' OCI being ready'.
