how many month before I can apply for Tier-1 extension

Hi All,

Please some one answer my following questions :

How many month befor tier -1 general visa validity date, I can apply for extension ?
Can I apply for extension five month befor the visa validity end date ?
If yes, what would be the new visa start date ? Will it be date when the new visa issued or the end date of my existing tier-1 visa ?

You can apply any time before your current visa expires. The visa will be valid from the date it is issued, not from the date your current visa expires.
