Need advice for dependent visa .. kinda urgent.

Post by muditmalhotra » Wed Sep 14, 2011 11:08 pm

Hi Guys,

I am in confusion again.. this time for my would be wife..
let me explain my case first:
I am in uk since july 10 and have visa till apr'13.. i am getting married in October, and due to official reasons i cant be out of country for long in that month.. so we have planned a marriage in mid october then I will come back to london .. and in november i will go again to India for reception and stuff..
i plan to bring my wife here in uk end of november with me ( post reception )..
so my questions are:

1. Is this okay on grounds of subsisting relationship and on all other grounds for that matter ? that to go for 5 days get married, apply for dependent visa come back to uk, go back to India and bring her with you ??
I have our photographs clicked in India and in UK when she came here to see me.. also i have chat logs emails and phone call records etc.. to support subsisting relationship.

2. should she apply her dependent visa when I am in India or I am in UK ?? ( does that make any difference )

3. she still has a valid uk visitor visa.. can she join me on that visa in november and then we can apply for her tier 1 dependent from here ??

any guidance or pointers would be appreciated.....

Thanks

1. chat logs emails and phone call records etc.. are fine to support subsisting relationship

2. doesn't make a difference

3. she can't switch from visitor to tier 1 dependant from the UK, application has to be made from outside

Hi mate thanks for your responce,
but my basis of confusion was - that i have read somewhere in this forum that ukba specifically dont accept cases like - went for a weeknd and got married they doubt it can be dubious.

Also, I use O2 international favorites to call her, O2 international favorite gives a 020 number which is linked to any phone no in world .. like in my case it is linked to my would be's mobile no in India... what is the best way in which i can prove that calling a 020 landline number actually means i am calling some one in India ?
