Sending updates for EEA2 application.

Post by amazighman » Fri Sep 16, 2011 9:23 am

hello guys.

i ll submit an EEA2 application as a spouse of an EEA citizen soon, but the problem is that my wife s employment contract is finishing november 2011,but she will get her contract renewed for 3 months untill january, only in february she will get 9 months work contract, this is the way her company works.

can i apply right now using the running contract , and then send as updates the new contract? i think in COA they include application number which can be used in case adding new document to the application.

any ideas about this?

thanks a lots

I say send the application with what you've got at the mo. May be worth including a cover letter explaining that while the existing contract appears to terminate in Nov, this is temporary and will be renewed from Nov - Jan and so on.

As long as your wife is exercising treaty rights, it doesn't matter how her contracts are structured. The EEA2 form just requires to state when the employment started. There is no need to provide the contract with the application. You can send her payslips instead.
