advice for getting a spouse visa for my wife

Post by shall-be » Tue Sep 20, 2011 5:07 pm

Hi everybody
I would like to get some advice about getting a spouse visa for my wife, here are the details:
1-I am a british citizen and have just come to the UK I had been away since I was a child
2-We have been married since AUG 2007 which means more than 4 years
3-We stayed together all this period and have children so we didn’t need to communicate by emails or Skype only local calls
4-I am searching for work but I claimed job seeker allowance – would it be a problem for getting the spouse visa?
5-I have proof of accommodation where I live now
6-I have just had a bank account in the UK which is impossible to provide the 6-month bank statements
7-My wife doesn’t have a bank account
8-My wife is a doctor but she isn’t working now
9-My wife can study and apply for the ESOL or does she need a KOL test?
