Family Visitor Visa - Typical Case

Post by raj_ss » Thu Sep 15, 2011 8:35 pm

Hi All,

I am planning to apply for family visitor visa for my in-laws next week appx(23rd Sept). There is a big challenge. I am on a tier1 visa and it expires on 17 Oct but I and my Wife have an appointment at Public enquiry office on 7th October for same day visa renewal.

Now the question is, can my in-laws get visitng visa for 6 months(ie the visiting visa expiry will surpass my tier1 visa exipry date). Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Regards
Raj

You should write in your invitation/sponsorship letter about your PEO appointment, enclose appointment proof, and state your intention of extending your Tier1 G.
