Biometrics experience

Post by mavrick14 » Fri Sep 23, 2011 5:46 pm

Wanted to share my postal application experience regarding biometrics, as I have been very disappointed with the service provided:

I went to Croydon last month to get my biometrics enrolled and was told due to a IT issue we will not be able to confirm the outcome now. But in return I was promised an update in three days if the appiontment needed rescheduling(Biometrics was successfully completed).

I have recieved a letter today 25 days after my intial appointment to re-book as the initial appointment was unsuccessful, moreover this time I have not been given an option to book in the post office.

I have plans for a business trip first week of October and I was waiting for my passport to return.

Incompetant staff and processes the only issue is its a govt agency and we have no choice but to comply... :x

Does anybody know if something else can be done to expedite the application process if its Home Office's fault.
