Mutiple points on driving licence

Post by mxgee » Sat Sep 24, 2011 10:07 am

I have 6 points on my driving licence. These points were endorse within the period of 5 months. First time I had 3 points for over speeding in March and now another 3 in Sep. I have also paid my fix penalty charge for these points. I am gona apply for ILR next year. Please advice that these points gona effect my ILR application.
Many thanks

Thank you for your quick response. I can understand what you are saying but if read the following content:

Receiving a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) is not a criminal conviction and should therefore be disregarded. The exceptions to this will be where either there are criminal proceedings for failure to pay and the individual has an unspent conviction as a result of that or the individual has multiple FPNs, particularly over a short period of time, and should be considered in line with the general requirements of character, conduct and associations within paragraph 322(5) of the Rules.

Obviously not as I was suggesting that the FPN will be not be considered when applying, meaning they will be disregarded, ignored, discounted, etc. Exactly as you have said in your response.
