Incase there is an entry clearance interview...

Post by anand.kumar79 » Thu Sep 07, 2006 3:04 pm

Hi,

I wanted to know if anyone can answer these questions for me?

1) What is the probability of being called for an interview?
Does the UK government encourage HSMP holders to eventually migrate to the UK?

2) If there is an interview for the entry clearance what are the various questions that can be asked?

Regards,
Andy

Hmm..

Good question mate...Even i was wondering abt. it..

But looking at some of the posts, i feel if you provide all the docs , then chances are slim..And yes , it also depends on your LUCK!!

which country are you in? regarding an EC interview, if your documentation is clean, the probability is almost zero.

and may i point out that it's called 'highly skilled MIGRANT program' for a reason... there is even a sentence in the declaration you have to sign which says 'i intend to make the uk my main home'...

a british acquaintance, a recruitment consultant, once told me that an hsmp visa holder is, to most recruiters, as good as a citizen.

at the moment, it's probably the best visa you can have short of ILR.
