Tier 1 extension

Post by abc111 » Fri Sep 16, 2011 1:33 pm

Hi,

I am attaching following documents for my Tier 1 (Extension) application

- My and wife's passports
- Payslips for my previous and current employers
- Bank statements corroborating the salary amounts
- MSc original degree
- Bank Statements showing maintenance funds
- A covering letter from my employer

Please advise if this will suffice OR more is required!!

Thanks All...

Please advise:

- if I need to send P60 in addition to formal payslips or ONE of them will be sufficient?
- which form to fill out for T1 (G) dependent? Is the same form for the main applicant? if so, then how to fill it out i.e. just fill out the personal details and personal conviction and leave rest alone???

Many thanks.

Thanks.

Guidance: says

- P60 or salary slips: but it does not specify what should be attached if you are not with a particular employer??! (I have P60 from ex-employer which only inludes part of my salary) -this is what is confusing to me!!

- For the dependant guidance says fill out the same form -but it does not say which sections to fill out. Also I take it that £1000 will be the fees for dependant as well for T1 (G) -I am looking for confirmation for this as well!

I have had read the guidance and have read some of the existing posts but they did not help!!

Before you ask queries, make sure you provide accurate information - to help others give you appropriate answers.

So, is it an extension application for a "Tier 1 (General) migrant" or a "dependant of a Tier 1 (General) migrant" or both (applying at the same time)?

Sorry, my T1 (G) expires next year but would like to apply for early extension as I have 1 year spent WP. My dependant's visa expires again same time.. and we are applying at the same time (NOT IF WE CAN HELLP IT!!)

...coming back to original questions:

> Is including P60 along with signed payslips from EX-employer is mandatory?
> If applying together is it £1000 for each applicant. Also do I only have to fill out personal and criminial history sections else which sections to address????

Many thanks.

AIUI, both the main migrant + dependant are applying for leave to remain (extension) at the same time.

In that case:
1. Payslips or salary slips or combination thereof: Read the Tier 1 (General) policy guidance. In all probability, the same instructions apply as they did when you applied initially for Tier 1 (G). The policy document explains when a P60 can be used.
2. Application form - See How dependants can extend their stay.
3. Cost - See Tier 1 (General) and Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) application fees
4. Which sections of the application form to fill - Applicants must all sections that are applicable. Read the information given in the application form(s) carefully and you'll know which sections are applicable and which ones can be left blank.

:?
Because the application form for Tier 1 (General) main migrant is not meant for a joint application!

Please click on the links given in my response above and read the information given in there, or at least read the application form you are referring to - which clearly states:
Each dependant must complete a separate PBS (Dependant) form.

Fee for main applicant = fill in "Tier 1 (General) application form".
Fee for dependant = fill in "Application form for dependants of points-based system migrants".

Not sure why you are trying to fill in the fees for both the main migrant and the dependant in one application form when you have told above that the two individuals need to fill two different forms!!

Oh no! sorry i could not convey my message right.....i am saying that i will fill out 2 No. application forms 1 No. for me and 1 No. for my wife.

Now amount on tier 1 application form is stated as £1000 and there is no amount specifically stated for Dependent!

On UKBA website it says that £1500 for BOTH applicants applying at the same time (obviously, 1+1= 2No. application forms will be used) BUT how can I direct HO to take £1500. Do I need to delete and write that amount manually!!!

Its not about number of application form but as to HOW TO DIRECT HOME OFFICE TO CHARGE AMOUNT WHICH IS NOT WRITTEN IN THE APPLICATION FORM.

Many thanks & sorry about that little 'shouting language'

Regards

But why are you trying to write the amount for "dependant application fees" in a form that is meant for the main migrant?

Why can't you write that amount (fees for dependant) in the application form meant to be used for an application by a dependant? And only write the amount meant for main migrant application fees in the form meant to be used for the main migrant.

When I said different forms, I meant "different" forms - and not "filling the same form by two individuals".

Clearly you have not bothered to read through the information provided in the links.
