how long can I stay away from UK if i have ILR

Friends need some advice just got my ILR a month a go now planning to go to India in december for 4-5 months (family problems) hence have to leave current job and house , house I can find after 4-5 months before I return that is not a problem, will I be OK to come back on my ILR without a job after 4-5 months ?? many thanks for your help
