Application Fees (Payment) put under what name by UKBA?

Post by kartz » Fri Sep 30, 2011 8:59 am

Hi,
I am going to apply for ILR in person next week and need to inform my bank about the large payment I am going to do on that day

Does anyone know under what name does Home office make the transaction so that I can let my bank know about it??

Thanks

K

it would be UKBA, Home office, just mention to your bank how much is the payment going to be, like £972, but I dont think it will be a problem as long as you have funds in the bank. goog luck

Zebra is right but let me give you some extra information.

It might happen that the transaction doesn’t go through straight away and the bank signal UKBA to call them to confirm the identity of the payer. If that happens home office has the responsibility to call the bank and the bank will confirm few details on the card with UKBA. They might also want to speak to you.

This is standard procedure for a bank if they think an unusual transaction is going through. You shouldn’t worry if this happens.
