need help about naturalisation

Post by pf1 » Fri Sep 30, 2011 3:51 pm

I want to ask a question about naturalisation whichis really confuse me now.

I came to UK in July 2008, at that time, I was on my "Entry Cleararnce Visa" which was for my civil partnership.

Then We joint our civil partnership in December 2008. Then I got my FLR(M) visa in Febuary (I think).(Cant remember excatly date, sorry).

In Feb/2011, I got my ILR(M) visa.

I want to ask, when can I apply for naturalisation?
My partner is British

I spoke to two lawyesr in the past one week, they all said that I only can apply after you got ILR 1 year which in next year Feb.

But there is a problem:

My partner is a partner of a small company, I am working for them now.
Due to the bussiness grows, we travel alot, cos we got a factory in Asia.

the out dates are:

03/12/2010-19/01/2011 ---48days.

19/04/2011-09/07/2011--82days.(something happened, so we had to stay a bit longer.)

26/07/2011-24/08/2011 -30days

And we might need to travel soon, because there are so many work to do. And we were thinking if could get this done quicker, that would be good.

And also, where we live with the company is same address, cos this is a small bussiness

What do you reckon?

when can I apply? what should I do?

Thank youy very much!

Or
If there are any lawyers can help me or anything? Could you please recommen one?

Given that you have been in the UK "lawfully" since July 2008, you may apply for naturalisation as and when you fulfil the requirements for spouses and civil partners.

You are not required to have been free from immigration time restrictions for 12 months (i.e. - you don't need to wait until Feb 2012 to apply for naturalisation), if you meet the other requirements.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
