English test for Tier 4 dependent who is already in uk

Hello,
Just want to ask that my wife is already with me in uk on student dependent visa (tier 4),and as our visa is expiring in the end of this month so we will be applying shortly ,just want to confirm that my wife have to give english test which is compulsory for dependents or not as she is already here and we will be applying from uk or it is compulsory for those dependents who will apply outside uk?

There is no English language requirement for tier 4 dependents regardless of whether they are applying from inside or outside the UK.
