I applied for SETO 28th June, recieved acknowledgment letter on 30th June,
Still awaiting
is any one in same situation
One confusing thing, tracking number of self addressed envelope is on royal mail system showing 'post receieved by royal mail but no delivery confirmation' ive checked with royal mail many times but no clear cut answer - latest answer is tracking number is an error
Any advice would be really appreciated.
Sincerely
waiting..
After their own deadline of 14 weeks I think you should now probably call or write to them asking for progress on your application. In my own case which is now in the 13th week, they said I should wait until after next week before they could confirm any details to me.daniel1978 wrote:posted on 22nd june, set(o) 5 years wp(chef), 14 weeks already, still waiting.... anyone knows how home office work?
Hi Poppy,poppy913 wrote:Hi my case is similar to yours. Posted Set O 15th July. Acknowledgement dated 19th July and still waiting. The status of my royal mail is "ünable to confirm". I suppose that just means it's not been sent out yet.
Do post if you hear back fr Home Office. Cheers.

Yes I think you should call, my 14 weeks will be over tomorrow, so I will call as well, and will really request for information more then just 'application in progress'. best of luck!
seto30june wrote:I called them today as now >14 weeks seto
they said its all pending no further information, I was just wondering if phone enquiry is of any use.

Now i really don't know what should do ?
I have found one more applicant it took 20week for him. I dont know its normal or not. if u withdraw ur application then u have to pay full fee againseto30june wrote:Dear all,
just want to know about SETO ILR applicants, my 14 weeks waiting time is well over now. Is there any one who has waited >= 18 weeks. I just want to know is it normal that one has to wait upto 18 weeks [or more] or is really unusual, because what I am thinking is to withdraw application if I don't hear any thing in a months time [ total 18 weeks] and then to apply personally.
I did call them, what they say its in progress.
Any experience in this regard and suggestions will be extremely helpful for me, and ofcorse for other fellows who are waiting for over 14 weeks now.
Many thanks and kindest regards

Even withdrawing doesn't work as you are thinking. if read some older posts then u would know they even take weeks to withdraw ur applicationseto30june wrote:If that was not the full payment I think I [ & I believe most of others] would d done it ages ago, its just a pain every day. I think I l wait for a month and then would strongly consider withdrawing.
