SPOUSE VISA - Maintenance Requirements (Help please...)

Hi

I got married last December and I am a UK resident since August. and need to bring my partner here however my bank balance went to a negative recently:

I went on holiday with my wife in August and my bank balance went to overdraft to -700 (negative 700). Due to receiving my September salary my balance is back to positive 2000 now from (22nd September)

Before going on holiday it was 3000+

Do I need to wait for another 3 months now so that I have to show that I didn't go to a negative bank balance for 3 months or is there not such a thing. PLEASE ADVISE I FEEL DEPRESSED.

One thing to mention my wife is American and was visiting me here in the UK from April to August using a visa granted at Heathrow airport. Does that count for something?

There is no problem with the situation you have mentioned if your historical cashflow of income against outgoing expenditure clearly demonstrates that you can live within your means and may continue to do so if another adult consumer is added to your household.

What do you mean when you say "UK resident since August"? Are you a settled person or a British citizen or ........?
