Tier 2 Vs dependent visa

Post by pappoosp » Tue Oct 04, 2011 12:16 am

Hi,

I have been living the UK since 2008, my current visa status is Tier 1 dependent visa and valid until June 2012. My emplyer has offered me a Tier 2 sponsorship. When I quiried with UKBA call centre, they advised that I will need to submit my application from India. They asked me to contact publicvisaenqs@........Unfortunately delivery to this email address has failed.

I would like to know if I apply from India in November, how long will this take. If the Home Office rejects my visa, will this affect my current visa, i.e. will I still be able to come back to UK

Many thanks

Average waiting times are available on the UKBS site. If the application is refused you may continue with your current leave and return to the UK.
