Impact of H1B Visa on Tier 1 (General) extension

Dear seniors,

Currently I’m working and living in UK under Tier 1 General around 4 years, If H1B visa stamped in my passport will it affect my Tier 1 Visa status.

hi charlie,

It's not a problem, unless you leave the country and go to US and stay there for more than 180 days.

My suggestion is go there for a month or so, search for a job, if you get a good one compared to the 1 you got here, then you might kick start a new life...

Anyway that doesnt effect your visa status here in UK. You can extend your stay and apply for ILR normally
