Switch from EEA Spouse Status

Hi,

I am new to this immigration board and seeking an advise. I married to EEA national in 2009. It is nearly 2 years of marriage now. we decided to get seperate as it did not work well between us. I want to know is it possible to switch my status from eea to student or can i switch to work permit. By profession i am an accountant. My employer is willing to process the work permit application for me. I am not sure whether is it possible or not.If yes can i switch my status without leaving the uk.

I hope i would be provided with requested information.

I believe it is not possible to switch from within the UK.

Are you still married?
Have you already applied for divorce?
Is your EU citizen spouse still working?

You have to apply from outside the uk
