Regarding Application Fees...plz reply ASAP...very urgent

Hi,

I am from India and applying for Canadian Immigration Under Federal Skilled Worker Category (Simplified Process). I went through the guides and online FAQs on official sites, but still have my doubts, so i am posting it here....

Q. While paying the application fees which is $550 CND, and I will be paying that in Indian Rupees. Should I pay the amount after converting $550 to Indian Rupees according to Currency Exchange price on the day of application or the FIXED amount of Rs. 22,000 irrespective of the Exchange Price.

Thanks.

No skitz,

If you had read the CIC India site thoroughly, there is no where that they have mentioned applicants should convert the currency into current exchange rates. Do not complicate a simple process. Just pay what you have been asked for, if there is an issue, they will contact you to rectify that. Just learn to follow simple instructions.

Read the bulletin below from CIC's website (India):
...........................................................................................................
Bulletins 2006

18/05/2006: Fee Change: 29 May 2006

In order to better reflect current exchange rates, the Indian Rupee equivalent for Cost Recovery Fees in all categories was changed on 29 May 2006.
