ICT New job

Post by chennaiguy » Mon Oct 10, 2011 9:23 am

Hi All,
I have just registered on this forum.

I am considering a transfer to London through my current company and I have a few questions. My salary levels will be aroud 70K-80K pounds.

1. Can I apply for Permanent Residence after a period of time
2. Can I search and change companies if I want to
3. Can my wife work
4. Im currently in Singapore with a PR.. Is this transfer worth it?

Any response is appreciated.

Thanks
Sri

1. No.
2. No.
3. Yes.
4. Whether it may be worth it or not depends on your circumstances, therefore a call for you to take. Not a forum - for you.

Yes.

Search for an employer who can issue a RCoS for you. Once arranged, apply for entry clearance as Tier 2 (General) migrant from outside UK on basis of that RCoS.

RCoS = Restricted Certificate of Sponsorship.

Reading the Tier 2 policy guidance will help.
