ILR application - unemployed after maternity leave

ILR application - unemployed after maternity leave

I have been living and working in the UK on an ancestry visa since November '05.
In August '10, a few weeks before I was due to start maternity leave (for a year) I was notified that my position had been made redundant, effective end of August '10.
My partner (British) has been supporting us since then.
If I apply for ILR now, will the fact that I am unemployed negatively impact the application?
